PETE DITTMER

Project Manager

Pete’s initial studies at the University of California Santa Cruz culminated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in politics.  His passion for landscapes however brought him back to school where he obtained a second degree in landscape design and construction from Merrit College with supplemental studies in landscape architecture through UC Berkeley extension. 
 
Following graduation Pete began working in the landscape construction industry before finding Siteworks in 2007.  With nearly 10 years’ experience now as a project manager at Siteworks, Pete is tasked with leading some of the company’s more challenging builds including a number of San Francisco urban gardens.  Pete discovered early on that his proactive management style and creative approach to problem solving were paramount to keeping projects on schedule and within budget. 
 
Outside of the office Pete enjoys training in martial arts including Aikido, exploring the Bay Area on bike or with his dogs and cooking.
